PORTA (10/4/12) DURING THE GAME/WARM-UPS, WE ASK THE DAD’S TO BE IN A DESIGNATED AREA ON THE SIDELINES OR IN THEIR REGULAR SEAT. WE WANT THIS TIME TO BE AN EXPERIENCE THAT YOU WILL BE ABLE TO SHARE WITH YOUR SON. WE ALSO REQUEST THAT YOU RESPECT THE COACHING STAFF AND THE PLAYERS IN THEIR PREPERATION FOR THE GAME. WE ASK THAT YOU DO NOT DISCUSS STRATEGY AND RECOMMEND “TIPS” DURING THIS TIME. WE ASK THAT YOU MERELY ENJOY THE MOMENT AND BE THERE TO ENCOURAGE YOUR SON. WE TELL OUR TEAM ALL THE TIME……”IT’S ABOUT RELATIONSHIPS”…..THE BOND YOU CREATE WITH YOUR TEAMMATES…..IF YOU CARE ABOUT YOUR TEAMMATES……EVERYTHING IS POSSIBLE IN MY MIND……A FATHER / SON RELATIONSHIP IS A SPECIAL RELATIONSHIP…..ONE THAT CAN BUILD YOUNG MEN.....ONE IN WHICH THE GAME OF FOOTBALL CAN BE USED TO FORGE MANY OF THOSE TRAITS WE WANT IN OUR RELATIONSHIPS……I HOPE THIS WILL BE A SPECIAL MOMENT FOR YOU AND YOUR SON. - COACH PUGH- ____________________________(PLEASE SIGN AND HAVE YOUR SON RETURN TO US)
