Annotated Bibliography • Complete the annotated bibliography. • You should already have the citations at the top of each page complete. • Now, complete the annotations which must include • A summary of the information you found in the source • An assessment of the degree to which the source was helpful in your research • A reflection on how the information might be used in your presentation.

  3. Key Words Parenthetical Citation Quote Sandwich

  4. Parenthetical Citation • A note within a text referring to source listed on a works cited or bibliography • Place the first word of works cited page citation in parentheses at the end of a sentence • If this information was from a specific source, I would have to cite it. Otherwise it would be plagiarism (Source).

  5. Quote Sandwich • Organizational method for paragraphs in which you include the following elements in the following order: • Introductory element • Quote or information • Parenthetical Citation • Commentary • Transition (word or phrase or sentence)

  6. Paragraphs Using your annotations and annotated bibliography create at least two paragraphs summarizing and analyzing the information. Use a quote sandwich method. Each paragraph should have a topic sentence and at least two parenthetical citations per paragraph. We’ll write one together. You do the other ones on your own.
