  1. INTERNET OF THINGS

  2. What Is Internet Of Things? • The driving idea behind IoT is to digitize and connect everyday tools. This makes it possible for us to interact and control them over the internet. Even with the current tools, you can see what’s going on in your house and even control your appliances, all through your mobile app. • IoT devices can be of different categories. These include wearable's or smart things that can be work, appliances in your home and even your car. IoT is also all set to radically alter the worlds of healthcare and transportation.

  3. How Does IoT Work? • The technicalities behind IoT is quite complex and few people will understand them. In simple terms, a number of wireless radios let the devices connect to each other and the internet. The medium of connection may be things like Wi-Fi, RFID, Low-Energy-Bluetooth, NFC and the like. Sometimes a central hub controls the interactions between the various devices. • The last component of the IOT architecture is the Cloud. Through its data is constantly collected and analysed and made simple for people to take effective action. The user can then decide what to do.

  4. Interesting Statistics On IoT • By 2020, Gartner estimates internet-connected things will outnumber humans 4-to-1, creating new dynamics for marketing, sales and customer service. • Bain estimates that by 2020, annual revenues could exceed $450 billion for IoT vendors selling hardware, software and comprehensive solutions. •  McKinsey states that globally, an estimated 127 new devices connect to the Internet every second. A report from the McKinsey Global Institute approximates that the IoT could have an annual economic impact of $3.9 trillion to $11.1 trillion by 2025.

  5. Future of Internet of Things IoT devices are becoming a part of the conventional electronic culture. People are adopting smart devices into their homes faster than ever. It is estimated that by 2020, there will be up to 21 billion connected devices to the internet.

  6. It's no doubt that IoT devices are going to play a huge part in how we interact with basic everyday objects .In just one year alone, the number of IoT devices connected to the internet shot up from 5 million to billions. The future is here, with IoT devices getting smarter through Artificial Intelligence & Machine Learning.
