  7. Heart Attacks There is a lot of proof that tobacco smoking is the major factor in the development of coronary artery disease which can lead to a heart attack. Nicotine can cause a rise in heart rate and blood pressure, which is very dangerous for people who already have high blood pressure. End

  8. Bad Breath Bad breath is the common name for the medical condition known as halitosis. There are many different things that cause halitosis, smoking being one of them. End

  9. Yellow Teeth Smoking turns your teeth yellow by leaving sticky tar deposits which can also cause brown stains. Smoking is the most universal bad dental health habit! End

  10. Blocked Arteries Smoking encourages the build up of fatty tissues in the arteries, which contributes to the development of heart disease.Cardiovascular disease can take many forms depending on which blood vessels are involved, and all of them are more common in people who smoke. End

  11. Breathing Problems People who smoke have difficulty competing with non-smoking peers because the physical effects of smoking, like rapid heartbeat and shortness of breath, impair sports performance. End

  12. Smelly Clothes The smell of stale smoke tends to linger - not just on people's clothing, but on their hair, furniture, and cars. And it's often hard to get the smell of smoke out. End

  13. Lung Cancer Tobacco smoke is the primary cause of lung cancer. Although non-smokers can get lung cancer, the risk is about 10 times greater for smokers. The risk is also increased by the number of cigarettes smoked per day. End
