  2. Mission/Scope To have computer room information more structured so changes in the rooms may be coordinated and understood by all affected parties reducing miscommunications and wasted resources.

  3. Goals • To organize Items like: • Contact lists • Layouts • Labeling • Emergency lists • Simple policies • Equipment changes • Others

  4. Team • Primary: Jim Van Dyke • Secondary: CRPC Rep • Members: Those interested ACCIS or organizational people

  5. Communications • WIKI site is being setup • Coordination with the CRPC is required • Meetings will be as needed to resolve current issues • Representatives from divisions/groups

  6. Risks • Structure of computer room information may cause excessive documentation & communications • Documentation could be cumbersome

  7. Action Items/Tasks • Develop list of rooms • Create list of room managers • Create list of contacts • Create list of emergency contacts • Develop web page for each room • Define matrix layout of each room • Develop list of basic room info. needed

  8. Schedule • Basic tasks outlined above should be completed in three months • Each task is a mile stone

  9. Outcome • Planned and effective computer room coordination • Time savings by having a location to obtain current room information • Room management simplification
