Why F.I.R.S.T.? • Firearms data repository for immediate access (State and FFL). • Can curtail loosely regulated gun show firearms purchases. • Completely green application; paper is eliminated from all aspects of purchasing, submission and long term record storage . • Eliminate poor penmanship errors (FFL). • Electronic application will create efficiencies increasing throughput and access to critical data.

What We Need… • State acceptance and endorsement of F.I.R.S.T. to allow FFL dealers to: • Electronially create, sign, submit and store all state and federal forms [Currently in ATF State Laws and Ordinances-Firearms in sections 29-33(c) and 29-37(a) electronic submission and storage is allowed but no existing technology (other than F.I.R.S.T.) can provide this.
