The Twizzle Rig • Twin 135% “heavy” headsails on one foil • 80mm diameter aluminum “whisker” poles • Standard outer end modified inner end • Twizzle joint free of mast held by uphaul & downhaul • Damped roll input from sails & reduced cross loading • Runs off the wind by up to 40 degrees • Sail reefs on one line for fast squall dousing • Sails usable from 10kts true through to heavy weather. • Sails can be flown paired to leeward without removal from the foil
