  1. What were they thinking? Billy Bob, Marybelle, and Bubba were bragging about their superior math understanding of division. They each decided to take division problems and show how they could be solved in different ways.

  2. Billy Bob said he could use the place value blocks to represent 324 divided by 4. Use the place value blocks to do the same and prove that you are as bodacious as Billy Bob. Record a piece of knowledge about division which this activity points out. Show me your representation when you have finished.

  3. Marybelle just loves to decompose numbers to find easy numbers to use. Marybelle said that by breaking numbers apart she can mentally solve the following problems.369 divided by 3408 divided by 4126 divided by 2132 divided by 12 Be as marvelous as Marybelle and do the same.   4. Bubba digs multiplying. He says he can solve any division problem using multiplication even if it takes him a few tries before he has the final answer.
