  3. Setting the deadline date • Handy way to alert you to problems in your schedule • Deadline dates are soft dates and they DO NOT participate in the schedule • All committed dates should be marked as deadline

Adding miscellaneous cost to tasks • Cost resources is an easy way of applying miscellaneous or multiple costs to a task, like airfare and dining • Cost resources are independent of • Calendars • Amount of work done on a task • You can assign different values of the same cost resources across tasks
