  2. What Is Mission Reconstruction? A restoration project to turn a neighborhood park area into a serenity garden and an outdoor environmental educational center.

  3. Where Was The Mission Located? The mission took place at Morris Park. The park is located at the 900 block of North 68th street, Philadelphia, PA 19151 along West End Drive and Ruskin Road.

  4. Duties Entailed • Shoveling and Raking up leaves • Bagging Up Gravel • Spreading Soil

  5. Serenity Garden • Finding Inner Peace • Native Species • Vegetable, Fruit, and Herbal Garden

  6. Native Species to Blossom in the Spring • Wildflower Meadow • Cherry Trees • Flowering Tree and Shrub Island

  7. What Are Herbs? Herbs are seed plants that do not produce a woody stem like a tree. An herb will live long enough to develop flowers and seeds. What Are Aromatic Herbs? Aromatic herbs have some novel uses and are not as popularly grown. Most are pleasant smelling flowers.
