Light shining strategy for the ‘down at heel’ • How to manage in times of uncertainty • Decide to not fret about daily needs Matt 6:25 “Therefore I tell you, do not worry about your life, • There’s more to life than food and clothing • Do a reality check • Consider how the birds and plants manage. Matt 6:26-30 • The birds fed, though unable to farm – the plants clothed though unable to manufacture • Does God not value you more than birds and plants? • Decide which kingdom Matt 6:31-34But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well. • Jesus story Luke 8:14 The seed that fell among thorns stands for those who hear, but as they go on their way they are choked by life’s worries, riches and pleasures, and they do not mature.
