The Central Atlantic Conference of the United Church of Christ has engaged in numerous environmental activities, inspiring congregations to lead by example. From the 50 Days of Greening Up during Easter to the Lenten Ecumenical Carbon Fast, members are urged to reduce fossil fuel consumption. Initiatives like Meatless Mondays, protests against the Keystone XL pipeline, and the resolution against mountaintop removal coal mining reflect our commitment to Earth care and advocacy. Our collective actions demonstrate that small changes can lead to significant environmental impact.
