REINACTMENT PERFORMANCE. 11:30a Depart for Jamestown Settlement. Stop and eat bag lunch from home at rest area. 2:00p Guided tour of Jamestown Settlement. 4:30p Early dinner at Jamestown Settlement. 5:45p Check into for Fairfield Inn & Suites 7:45p Depart for evening activities. 8:00p Evening activities, “Hauntings of Williamsburg” (Ghost’s of Williamsburg-at night) 9:30p Return to the motel. Draft ItineraryApril 18 6:45a Wake up, pack, continental breakfast at motel, and check out. 8:15a Depart for Colonial Williamsburg. 8:30a Guided tour of Colonial Williamsburg. 11:30a Depart for Yorktown Victory Center 12:15p Eat Box lunch provided at picnic area at Yorktown Victory Center. 1:00p Guided tour of Yorktown Victory Center. 3:00p Shop the gift shop. 3:45p Depart for home. 5:45p Dinner Stop at Golden Coral, Colonial Heights, VA 9:45p Arrive back at Piney Grove Elementary School.

  4. Trip Cost • The actual cost of the trip depends on how many paying people attend. We are estimating the trip to be $208 at this moment. We still have students that have not sent in intent forms. Do this ASAP. Trip cost includes: • County approved late Model Motor Coaches with VCR and rest rooms. (Coach America) • Lodging for one night at the Fairfield Inn & Suites, Williamsburg, VA. • Meals: All meals except first day breakfast and lunch. • Attractions: St. Johns Church (Patrick Henry Re-inactment), Jamestown Settlement (guided), • “Hauntings of Williamsburg” program, Yorktown Victory Center, (Guided) Colonial Williamsburg (guided) • All the sights we can see and things we can do.

  5. Student Expectations • Students should have “respectful” behavior to adults and tour directors • Students should not be running up and down halls. • Students should not be going up and down elevators. • Students should not be leaving rooms unsupervised. • All PGE rules of behavior are expected to be followed while on this trip!

  6. Payment Dates September 28th: Intent Form, $50 deposit November 16th: $50 January 18th: $50 February 22th: Balance and Permission slip (Your homeroom teacher will give you this information as this will depend on money raised through fundraisers.)

  7. Chaperones • Each class needs approximately 9 • Intent forms to teacher by Friday • Go online to WSFCS to fill out volunteer form by • Friday • Chaperone meetings will be held closer to date. • There will be several. Chaperones MUST attend one • of the meetings in order to go on the field trip. • Each chaperone will be responsible for up to 4 • students. This may or may not include their own • child!
