We tested the effect of water, Dr. Pepper, and tea on plant growth. Surprisingly, the water plant thrived, while the experimental plants were moldy and crinkly. Our hypothesis was disproven as the water plant grew fastest. Learn from our mistake to only water plants with water for best results.

Variable Being Tested We decided to test water.
We will do for our experimental group Dr. Pepper and tea. Our control group is water. Control and Experimental Groups
On the first day all of the plants were healthy meaning green and tall. On the last day the water plant was green and growing and the experimental plant was horrible meaning sticky ,moldy, and crinkly. Observations
Our Hypothesis If we put Dr. Pepper and sweet tea in the plants soil, then it will grow faster.
From this experiment , we learned that to always water your plants with normal water not other liquids because the other liquids make them die. Conclusion Statement
Our hypothesis was wrong because we thought the Dr. Pepper plant and tea would grow faster but it did not the water plant grew faster. Hypothesis Statement
No we do not want to do this experiment in the future because it will kill the plant and will stink up the house. Future Experiments
