    2. Toad??? • Frog??? • Toad??? • Frog??? • What gives?

    3. Actually!!! Toads ARE Frogs!!!

    4. Toads-usually have dry, warty skin and short hind legs for walking. Frogs-usually have smooth, moist skin and long, strong, webbed hind legs for swimming and jumping.

    5. Frogs-generally live in moist climates and lay eggs in clusters. • Toads- generally live in drier climates and lay eggs in long chains. without moisture oxygen would not pass easily through the skin and the frog would suffocate.

    6. Toads-eyes are positioned within the framework of their face and head. Frogs-eyes are located on the top of the head, so they can sit in water and still see around.

    7. Are found anywhere there’s fresh water, from deserts to the artic. AND as high as 15,000 foot mountain slopes!!! Frogs (toads)

    8. About once a week frogs shed their skin – THEN - they eat it!!!! Hungry???
