  3. Grading Policy(Tentative) • Agenda/Bellringer/Bell work • 0-10 pts • Daily work (class work)/Homework/quizzes • 0-30 pts • Unit (Chapter) Test/Projects/ Laboratory • 30-100 pts • Nine Week Exams • 100-300 pts • Final Nine Week Grade: 20% exam + 80% all other

  4. Classroom Procedures • Enter HUSH, HUSH! You will leave just the same. • Once you have entered, DO NOT LEAVE!!! • Take care of your house. • Sharpen pencils • Pick up missed assignments • Write your agenda daily • Sit quietly when you are working.

  5. Class Rules • You do nothing that prevents the teacher from teaching. • Raise your hand to be recognized • Follow direction the first time • Sit in your assigned seat; do not leave your seat without permission. • Get to class on time • You do nothing that prevents your neighbor from learning. • Keep your hands to yourself • Bring all of your materials to class • Get to class on time • Horseplay is not allowed (physically/verbally) • You RESPECT yourself and others as well as the environment. • Respect adults and your peers alike

  6. Consequences • Warning with documentation • Writing assignment with documentation • Call to parent/guardian with documentation • Disciplinary referral form (YOU ARE ON YOUR WAY TO THE OFFICE) • NOTE: Fighting, destruction of property, continuous disruption and disrespect will bypass #1-3 to #4.

  7. Absences • Make File Folder is located by teacher desk on white board • Agenda (fellow classmate) • Assignments • There is a two days time frame before assignment is due • Make-up test on Thursday at 7am in RM.209 (where you are now) • You ask for pass to take test the day before (your responsibility) • Passes are given before or after class; not in between

  8. Tardies, Tardies, Tardies • DON’T BE!!! • If so, enter quietly and • Sign tardy binder at table by teacher’s desk • Return to your assigned seat and get prepared • Need to turn something in? Wait until the end of class

  9. Passes • Limited to two passes each nine weeks. • Locker breaks and Bathroom breaks are alternate one another. • Example: • Top Locker go to lockers while bottom lockers go to restroom • When using passes • Do not leave during instructional time • Teacher lectures • Movie/Video • Speaker
