  6. About Phoenix VMUG The VMware User Group (VMUG) program is designed to encourage and support communities of VMware users who want to hold regular meetings in their local area. The purpose of these gatherings is to provide a forum in which VMware users can share best practices and expertise, and VMware can in turn obtain feedback from the user community.

  7. Vendor Support Vendors are a big part of VMUG and they usually will provide meals, drinks, or door prizes in exchange for presentation time or site presence at our meetings. Vendors are welcome to attend meetings. However – Vendors should attend as a sponsor, not as a user, and by invite only. Vendors cannot run a VMUG meetings or do they have access to VMUG members information. What is a vendor – simply put – if you work for a company that sells, supports, or consults – IT based software / hardware, or services then you’re a vendor.   11. User Demos • We need you for User Demos.. • What do you want to see for presented? • Do you work with a product that you really like? If so present it.. • Do you have a favorite product that you like? • If so present it… • Have you compared VMware to other products? If so present it… • You don’t have to present the topic if you don’t want to.. • We’ll work with you to get the information and • then we’ll find a presenter.

  13. Gotcha’s Are issues you came across using VMWARE and what you did to resolve it. They could also be issues that you are having and want to bring up to the group for discussion. If you want to present an issue feel free to use the projector and PowerPoint.
