  2. Rockfield ROCKS! • Responsibility • Obey Expectations • Cooperate with Others • Keep a Positive Attitude • Show Respect

  3. Early Morning Arrival Goal: • Students will enter Rockfield with a positive attitude and be provided a safe environment to prepare for a successful day at Rockfield Elementary School. Students will demonstrate expectations of “ROCKS”.

  4. Early Morning Arrival Expectations: • I will enter Rockfield at a Level 2 voice. • I will go straight to my assigned area in the gym. • I will remain seated in my line using a Level 2 voice. • I will face the speaker for Morning Meeting with a Level 0 voice. Student Workers: • I will sign out for work no earlier than 7:45 and return to the gym by 8:05. • I will pick up my ID badge and wear it to work and return it to the gym.

  5. Breakfast Goal: • The cafeteria will be a safe, pleasant environment where students can eat and socialize with friends in a positive way.

  6. Breakfast Expectations: • I will go directly to the breakfast line after putting my backpack down. • I will use a Level 2 voice when talking to the people close to me at my table. • I will raise my hand when I need help. • I will use good manners and clean up after myself. • I will return to my line.

  7. Hallway Goal: • The hallways of Rockfield Elementary will be a safe and quiet environment where people interact with courtesy and respect.

  8. Hallway Expectations: • I will walk on the right side of the hallway. • I will stay 1 block away from the wall. • I will keep my hands in front of me or behind my back. • I will keep my eyes facing the front. • I will be at a Level 0 unless speaking to an adult. • I will walk safely.

  9. Restroom Goal: • The restrooms will be a safe and clean environment that all students may use without fear or harassment.

  10. Restroom Expectations: • I will not speak above a Level 1 voice. • I will flush the toilet. • I will wash and dry my hands and throw away my trash. • I will return promptly to class. • I will report any bathroom-related problems to my teacher.

  11. Lunch Goal: • The cafeteria will be a safe, pleasant environment where students can eat and socialize with friends in a positive way.

  12. Lunch Expectations: • I will go through the lunch line at Level 0 unless speaking to an adult. • I will talk only to the people close to me at my table in a level 2 voice. • I will stay in my seat and raise my hand when I need help. • I will use good manners and respond respectfully to adult directions. • I will clean up my area, walk in a single file line, and dump my trash at a Level 0.

  13. Playground Goal: • Students will enjoy playing with others and equipment in a respectful and safe manner.

  14. Playground Expectations: • I will keep hands and feet to self. • I will stay in designated areas. • I will demonstrate good sportsmanship. • I will put all my trash in trashcan. • I will line up in a straight line immediately at teacher’s signal.

  15. Dismissal Goal: • The students will use respect, responsibility, and cooperation in order to leave the school in a safe and orderly manner.

  16. Dismissal Expectations: • I will wait quietly in my classroom for my dismissal procedure. • I will walk to the appropriate exit location at Level 2 or below. • I will stand in a line at my exit and wait for a teacher to lead me out. Car Riders: • I will wait in the gym at a Level 0 with my backpack closed until my name is called. • I will wait in my designated square until my vehicle comes to a complete stop.

  17. Bus Goal: • The students will be transported to and from school in a safe and friendly environment. • Remember: Riding a school bus is a privilege!

  18. Bus Expectations: • I will keep hands, feet, and objects to myself and will remain seated. • I will use appropriate voice levels and will be at a Level 0 when bus stops. • I will be ready to get on and off the bus promptly. • I will follow the rules given by the bus driver and/or monitor. • I WILL ALWAYS STAY A SAFE DISTANCE FROM THE BUS WHEN ENTERING AND EXITING THE BUS.
