  5. No exceptions…..No excuses The Seminole Way Silent Passage MUST BE FOLLOWED BY ALL

Classroom Procedures • Bring all necessary materials. • Enter quietly. • Sit in your assigned seat. • Sharpen pencils. • Clear your desk of everything except paper and pencil. • Wait silently for daily instruction to begin. • At the end of class, remain in your seat until you are called to be dismissed.

  7. Follow directions the first time they are given. Raise your hand to get permission to speak, or to get out of your seat. Keep hands, feet and objects to yourself. Listen when others are speaking. Use kind words. Follow all school rules. Classroom Rules

  8. Rewarding Good Behavior

  9. This is a class reward. • Each class canearn up to 3 coin stars per day for the following: • Two-Minute Rule (Everyone is seated and silent within the first two minutes of beginning class. Pencils sharpened, etc.) • Materials Check (Everyone must have a pencil/pen) • Desks ready (Everyone must have their desks cleared of everything except LA materials • Stars= 5points • Class goal = 100 points (ICECREAM PARTY) Class incentive chart

  10. Students who display exemplary behavior and citizenship each class period will earn 1 Nole Nickel. Nole Nickels may be used to wear jeans on Fridays beginning 8/19/11 (4 total) and for monthly PBS events. NOLE NICKELS

  11. Addressing Problems

  12. Level One:Warning • Level Two: Silent Lunch (no more than 2 per week) • Level Three: Parent Contact • Level Four: Detention (no more than 2 per month) • Level Five: Parent Conference/Behavior Contract consequences

  13. Can be positive or negative – The CHOICE is up to YOU!! Consequences
