Materials • My goal is to make a water saving device. It captures the water that it does not need to help the grass grow. • The materials I have used are: • Fake grass (to demonstrate real grass) • Container with a plastic rack • Four mini tubs of paint • Blue tack • Hose
Materials - continued Steps: • Get all the materials. • Have the lid of the tub on the table. • Put glue tack in the corners of the lid. • Put the four little paints on the blue tack. • Put glue tack on top of the little paints and put the rack on. • Then put the fake grass on.
How It Works • If you water the garden the water goes through the grass and dirt in a little box In the ground that you can reuse over and over again. It could be used on a little area or the whole garden. If we don’t use this the water would be sitting in the dirt. It would also stop the grass getting to muddy. The water can be reused again for watering the garden and watering the plants. I believe it would be pretty cheap to make.
Easy and Hard • I found it easy to think of an idea. • It was easy to get the materials because we already had them. • It was hard to do design it on the computer. • It was hard to type in all the stuff. • It was easy to make it because it was small and did not use many materials. • I learnt that assignments are sometimes fun and sometimes not fun. • I learnt about planning a project.
