  3. Food Drive w/Staff Senate • UNC Staff Assembly Day of Service Food Drive Big Success • 2,689 pounds of food and The Wilmington Food Bank • Thanks to all who contributed

  4. Handbook Committee Update • The handbook committee is continuing to update the handbook • The goal is have it presented no later than April • Time to examine—one month before a vote • Vote in May

  5. Board of Governors Public Service Award • Nomination due to Steve McFarland • Deadline March 16

  6. Other Areas of Faculty Concern • Rec Center closed over holidays • Isn’t this in opposition to what the new initiatives for obesity are trying to do? • Health insurance • Research misconduct
