Basic Installation • Remove factory trap from furnace • Install trap from kit on furnace • Remove (2) 7/8-in. knockouts on same side of furnace • Install transformer from kit on field-supplied J-box • Mount J-box to knockout on furnace casing • Install 7/8-in. grommet through knockout for J-box/furnace casing UTC Climate, Controls & Security Confidential and Proprietary Information - Not for Further Distribution

  8. Basic Installation • Route external 115 VAC power leads and furnace power leads to J-box • Use external disconnect when required by code • Connect external, furnace and transformer leads together • Install 7/8-in. grommet in other 7/8-in. knockout in casing • Route trap heater leads under inducer assembly and through that grommet in casing • Verify trap heater leads are not touching hot surfaces • Connect low voltage leads to screw terminals on transformer UTC Climate, Controls & Security Confidential and Proprietary Information - Not for Further Distribution
