  5. What can I do with a major in… Helpful Information in Selecting an Academic Major Many students wonder what types of employment are possible with different academic majors. The following links highlight some of the connections between an academic major and a position. • College of Arts Sciences Majors • School of Business Majors • School of Health and Human Performance • School of Technology Majors

  6. Co-ops and Internships What is a Co-op? • Co-op Students alternate between full-time, career-related experience and full-time academic study. What is an Internship? • Students spend a full-time or part-time, career-related work period with an organization. Once the period ends, students return to campus full-time.

  7. Co-ops and Internships • Qualifications • Indiana State University students are eligible for Internship and Co-op assignments after completing twelve or more semester hours with a minimum of a 2.0 GPA (4.0 scale). • Transfer students may be eligible after one semester on campus.
