Cooperative Education • Co-op is designed to blend academic knowledge with real life hands on work experience through career related work experience. Co-op students work in paid positions which are related to their field of study. • Course Number: COOP 197 and COOP 297 • (297 is needed for the associate degree) • 1 credit = 162 hours • Students can choose from 1-5 credits • Typical co-op being 2 credits (324 hours).
