  1. CCS – Introduction • “An event that had the potential to cause injury or damage” • Close call reporting – key to improving safety on our sites • Launched June 2011 • Originally targeted at all suppliers working on NR sponsored construction sites • 9,763 close calls entered in the first year • Lack of data fields in CCSv1 made it difficult for data analysis. • August 2012 – Change of approach: • System mandated on all Principal Contractors • Sub-Contractors to report close calls through PCs Create your footer by changing copy in the Header and Footer section

  2. CCS v2 • Redesigned user interface to facilitate smarter data capture • Now includes extensive close call categorisation and project data enabling smarter analysis and trending • Intelligent bulk uploading – system validates your spreadsheet and tells you where you have made an error and why • Option to choose a primary cause from a comprehensive list of incident factors • Reduced workload – system only sends high risk and open close calls for review by the Responsible Manager. • System administration made easier. • Now includes functionality to track feedback to the reporter Create your footer by changing copy in the Header and Footer section

  3. Benefits • It is not a new system – it is the same system, but better • We’ve listened – improvements are a result of responding to user feedback • Access to a huge pool of industry data for the analysis of close calls • Access to a suite of reports, some of which can be auto-emailed directly on a periodic basis • Access to industry and bespoke dashboards for at-a-glance information and trends Create your footer by changing copy in the Header and Footer section

  4.
