  1. New Faculty Academy Extension Summer Internship Program

  2. Extension Internship Cohort Program Student Internships are located on campus and all over the state, from the North Country to the Monadnock Region to the Seacoast and they are credit eligible! Earn money, make connections in your field of study and build confidence. Gain work experience by learning to collect and analyze data in the lab and field; review literature; apply technology to research; and develop relationships with state and regional partners. Internships are cohort-based. You will meet your peers at a June kick-off potluck, share your experiences at the July presentations for interns and mentors and celebrate your accomplishments during our August picnic. Past interns are invited to share their experience with UNH students at a Fall Harvest Lunch at the MUB. A few examples of 2019 opportunities: Help develop a local market for invasive green crab; improve wildlife habitat; teach at-risk kids STEM topics at summer camp; learn to farm sustainably; or spend your summer as a photographer, videographer or social marketer of Extension’s statewide activities.

  4. “My UNH Extension internship has brought me so much joy and a heightened understanding of community and environmental development. As I continue to create a bond with my amazing and helpful mentor, I can guide myself toward future career choices. Working with ArcGIS has its challenges, but it benefits all users in the long run. By having access to hundreds of maps and information through UNH Extension, I can pursue deeper levels of my research and interests.” ~ Hannah Stewart ‘20
