Reactionary = people who respond to change. Reactionaries usually are conservative and want to prevent change or turn back the clock. Martyr = someone who sacrifices their life for their religious faith. Foxes’ book of Martyrs = published propaganda celebrating the Protestant Martyr’s under Mary’s reign. Embroiled = sucked into, dragged in, consumed by a negative situation. Wyatt Rebellion = Valois Monarchy = Hapsburg Monarchy = L.O. to develop an understanding of Mary’s religious reform and her foreign policy. L.O. to evaluate the success of Mary’s reign.
