Your Assignment • In groups of 2 or 3 create a poster raising awareness to the importance of living an active, healthy lifestyle (What is an active healthy lifestyle??) • Your posters will be put up around the school so take your time making them and do the best you can • Your poster should be captivating and meaningful (what does this mean??) • Include a motto!! • Time Limit: 35 minutes

  6. What is Active Living? • A way of life in which physical activity is valued and done daily (on a regular basis) • Active Living Motto • “Move more… Sit Less”

Set SMART goals • S – Specific: know exactly what you want to achieve • M – Measurable: how will you know that the goal has been reached • A – Attainable: make sure your goal is possible • R – Rewarding: what is in it for you to keep working at the goal? • T – Timely: set a date that you would like to achieve your goal by. This way you have a benchmark to work towards
