This chapter discusses the Five Themes of Geography, which are essential for understanding our world. It explores Location, distinguishing between absolute (exact coordinates) and relative (surrounding context) location, and defines Place based on distinct features and changes over time. The concept of Region is explained through similarities in physical and human characteristics, while Movement examines the migration of people, goods, and ideas. Finally, Human-Environment Interaction (HEI) highlights how humans interact with and impact their environment, from agriculture to pollution.
