  2. CIRCULATORY SYSTEM What’s the circulatory system? Important parts Types of blood vessels http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oE8tGkP5_tc http://www.medicalook.com/human_anatomy/systems/Circulatory_system.html
  3. WhAt’s the circulatory system? The Circulatory System is responsible for transporting materials throughout the entire body, like nutrient, water, oxygen and blood. Nutrients:Chemical substances taken into the body through feeding. Examples of nutrients include vitamins, carbohydrates, proteins, fats and minerals. A healthy diet should provide the required nourishing nutrients which are used to sustain the body. http://questgarden.com/97/06/7/100223192111/images/circulatory20system.jpg
  4. Important parts The heart is a muscular organ that pumps blood. The blood, it transports all the important material to all the parts of the body. http://share.pdfonline.com/e505d0286575470c90aead7c238e08d0/Circulatory%20System_images/Circulatory%20System14x1.jpg
  5. Types of blood vessels Blood is carried from your heart throughout your body in three types of blood vessels: arteries, capillaries and veins. Arteries: Blood vessels that carry blood away from the heart. Capillaries: Network of tiny vessels that act like a highway interchange. Here oxygen, nutrients and glucose diffuse. Veins: The veins transport the nutrients through all the body. http://www.infoplease.com/images/ESCI353BLOVES003.gif
  6. Respiratory system What is it? Important parts http://www.medicalook.com/systems_images/respiratory_system_large.gif http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hc1YtXc_84A
  7. Respiratory sistem The primary function of the respiratory system is to supply the blood with oxygen in order for the blood to deliver oxygen to all parts of the bodyand to produce energy for the body.

  9. Cilia: Tiny hairs that warm and filter the air. Trachea: The main function of the trachea is to allow inhaled air to travel into and out of the lungs to and from the atmosphere. Bronchi:Permit air to pass through it. Bronchioles:Allow the passage of air freely into the lungs.
