  2. FUNDAMENTOS Progressão mais rápida da aterosclerose em pacientes nefropatas associadas a complicações cardiovasculares, principalmente nos segmentos coronarianos e carotídeos

  3. HIPÓTESE Estabelecer a prevalência da doença aterosclerótica carotídea extracraniana nos nefropatas, esperando encontrar uma maneira para reduzir suas complicações através do controle dos fatores de risco

  4. OBJETIVO Avaliar a prevalência e fatores de risco para doença vascular extracraniana em pacientes nefropatas através do exame clínico e mapeamento Duplex.

  7. PARTICIPANTES CRITÉRIOS DE INCLUSÃO Pacientes nefropatas em programa dialítico em Sergipe CRITÉRIOS DE EXCLUSÃO Pacientes menores de 18 anos, gestantes, portadores de alterações psiquiátricas
