  2. A group of students were asked to list what they thought were the present "Seven Wonders of the World." Though there were some disagreements,the following received the most votes:ครูถามนักเรียนว่า “อะไรคือมหัศจรรย์ทั้งเจ็ดของโลก”คำตอบมีต่างกันบ้าง แต่นักเรียนส่วนใหญ่ก็เลือกคำตอบดังนี้

  3. Egypt's Great Pyramidsปิรามิดแห่งอียิปต์2. Taj Mahalทัช มาฮาล3. Grand Canyonยอดเขาแกรนด์แคนย่อน4. Panama Canal คลองปานามา5. Empire State Building ตึกเอ็มไพร์สเตท6. St. Peter's Basilica บาซิลิก้าแห่งวิหารเซนต์ปีเตอร์7. China's Great Wallกำแพงเมืองจีน

  4. While gathering the votes, the teacher noted that one student had not finished her paper yet.ระหว่างที่รวบรวมคำตอบ ครูผู้สอนสังเกตุเห็นว่า มีนักเรียนที่ยังเขียนไม่เสร็จอยู่คนหนึ่ง

  5. So she asked the girl if she was having trouble with her list. The girl replied, "Yes, a little. I couldn't quite make up my mindbecause there were so many.“ครูจึงถามเธอว่าเด็กหญิงเลือกไม่ถูกหรืออย่างไรเด็กหญิงตอบว่า “ค่ะ หนูไม่ทราบว่าจะเลือกอันใหนดี เพราะมันช่างมีมากมายเหลือเกิน”

  6. The teacher said, "Well, tell us what you have, and maybe we can help".ครูเอ่ยขึ้นว่า “งั้นหนูก็ลองบอกให้ฟังหน่อยสิจ้ะ เผื่อพวกเราจะช่วยได้”

  7. "The girl hesitated, then read: "I think the 'Seven Wonders of the World' are:เด็กหญิงรีรอสักครู่หนึ่ง ก่อนอ่านสิ่งที่ตนเขียน “หนูคิดว่า เจ็ดมหัศจรรย์ของโลก คือ..”

  9. 2. To Hear... การได้ยิน

  10. 3. To Touch... การได้สัมผัส

  11. 4. To Taste... การได้รู้รส

  12. 5. To Feel... การได้รู้สึก

  13. 6. To Laugh... การได้ยิ้มหัวเราะ

  14. 7. And to Love.“ การได้รัก

  15. The room was so quiet you could have heard a pin drop.The things we overlook as simple and ordinary and thatwe take for granted are truly wondrous!ทั้งห้องอึ้งเงียบ เงียบมากขนาดได้ยินเสียงเข็มหล่นพื้นทีเดียวเรามองข้ามสิ่งเรียบง่ายและแสนธรรมดาไปโดยสิ้นเชิง
