  3. Beginning of the Israelites • 1900B.C., Abraham msg from God= take his ppl to Canaan= God’s covenant • 1800B.C., Famine in Canaan » Egypt • 600 years and wrote down beliefs = Torah • Pharaoh suspicious=made slaves
