  1. What’s the significance of the Stork’s Tower Label? The White Stork migrates north each summer from its home in Africa. As they find it difficult to fly over large bodies of water, they avoid the Mediterranean and go north-west over Morocco and into Spain. Not persecuted as their nests are seen as good omens, they often nest close to human habitation. Thousands of storks can be seen across the towns and countryside of Castilla y Leon, nesting in trees, church towers and other buildings.
