  2. Friedlich ist die Welt am Morgen

  3. und die Sonne lacht vom Himmel

  4. und dein Herz das lacht wohl auch

  5. kleiner Tiger schützt ein Mäuschen

  6. vorn am Eck da blüht ein Strauch.

  7. Und am Himmel lacht die Sonne

  8. und die Welt scheint heut so rein

  9. traurig fragt ein kleines Mädchen:

  10. Kann es denn nicht stets so sein?

  11. Und die Sonne lacht vom Himmel

  12. und sagt zu dem kleinen Kind:

  13. sei nicht traurig kleines Mädchen

  14. manchmal weht ein rauer Wind.

  15. Und im Baum da sitzt ein Vogel

  16. und er singt so laut er kann

  17. und im Gras der kleine Tiger

  18. hört sich dieses Liedchen an

  19. und er weiß, dass er wohl könnte

  20. und er denkt darüber nach,

  21. wie es wäre den zu fressen,

  22. der sein Herz ein bisschen brach

  23. und er lässt den Vogel singen

  24. und dann schläft er friedlich ein

  25. Tief in mir hör ich das Mädchen:

  26. Kann es denn nicht stets so sein?
