  2. FUNDraisers and FUNraisers Do you know the difference? Can you have the best of both worlds? FUNDraisers: events to raise money for charities, service projects, or your club FUNraisers: events to strengthen the relations of members through bonding activities

  3. FUNDraisers • What is a fundraiser unique to your club? • For what reasons does your club fundraise? • How do you promote fundraisers?

  4. Possible FUNDraisers Carwash (i.e. FREE carwash with donation attracts attention) Restaurant Nights Candy Sales (i.e. World’s Finest Chocolates) Bake Sales Grams Sale (Christmas, Valentine’s, etc.) Gift Wrapping Food Fairs

  5. FUNraisers What do you consider as funraisers? What is an original funraiser your club had before? What motivates you to attend funraisers?

  6. Possible FUNraisers Olympics (sports competition) Picnics Beauty pageants (Mr. Key Club) Beach Clean-up Barbeque Dinners

  7. Put the FUN in Fundraisers! Ice Skating Bowling Dances Movie Nights Awake-A-Thon Dance Marathons

  8. Preparing For FUNDraisers and FUNraisers Plan early. Schedule your event ahead of time! Get all necessary approval for facilities. Use social media appropriately to promote your event. When fundraising, have a set goal and decided ahead of time what cause you are donating to. Communicate your goals with your audience! Delegate tasks in event planning. Have fun!
