  4. The Oakland Catholic Softball team played their first home game against Plum yesterday and lost 18-4. They play at home today versus Allderdice. • Go Eagles!!

  6. Dancing with the Vikings • Friday, April 11 at Central Catholic • Tickets are on sale during the lunch periods. • Proceeds benefit the Mission projects at both Oakland and Central.

  7. WIN AN ALEX AND ANI BRACELET!! • The Club Today’s Girls Tomorrow’s Women is selling raffle tickets in order to win an Alex and Ani Bracelet! • All money goes to the Because I am a Girl movement that supports girls’ rights worldwide and lifts millions out of poverty • 1 ticket: 50 cents • 3 tickets: $1 • We are selling them during all lunch periods until next Wednesday!

Cedar Point Post Prom • Cedar Point permission slips are available in the  main office. • Tickets are $100/person and include park ticket, bus ride, pizza buffet and drink wristband. • The trip is open to all Juniors and Seniors, and those attending prom can bring their dates. • Stop in room 211 for more info or questions.

  9. Pittsburgh Black Youth Summit Saturday, May 10 Additional Information is available in the main office.

  10. Prom contracts are now available in the main office. Dresses can be approved by Ms Teeters in room 211 or the main office. All signatures must be completed before purchasing tickets. Ticket sales begin Monday, April 28 in room 211.

Clarion University of PA Spring Open House Saturday, April 26, 2014 9AM -9:30AM - Registration Welcome and Overview - 10AM Campus Tour:  11:30AM Brunch 11:30AM to 2:30PM Registration:  www.clarion.edu/visitus or 800-672-7171, ext.1 If you are interested in teacher education, please note that Clarion University Education majors can expect to get into classrooms starting in the Freshman year of college.  You can learn more about this at the Open House

  12. Attention Rising Seniors and Rising Juniors! LT Monica Chess from the USNA Office of Admissions will be visiting Oakland Catholic on Friday, May 2nd at Period 2.  If you are interested in learning about life at the US Naval Academy, see Mrs. Just in the Guidance Office to obtain a pass.  Your Period 2 teacher must sign your pass for admittance to this session.
