There are three states of matter Gas Liquid Solids • Constant motion • Kinetic Energy • Particles are far apart • Move freely-particles are not attracted to each other • Constant motion • Particles are packed close together • Move around a fixed point • Constant Motion • Particles close to each other • Free to move, but are attracted to each other • Not rigid or orderly
