Portal Delayed until November - after ioAgents and the LR database Aiming to enrich the basic functionality of the portal in the original bid document The University’s marketing department has offered to carry out student-based research for the portal The portal and LR database are felt to require a long-term sponsor

Plug-ins Suppliers are not participating in plug-in development as previously expected Cornwall UNITe site – Cornwall will probably resort to developing own csv-based plug-in SCAT EBS site - FD Learning withdrew some time ago and SCAT are to develop their own csv-based plug-in Exeter UNITe site – Exeter may try to develop own plug-in North Devon CampusIT site – ND are committed to developing their own IMS interface to the Shell hub University Hemis site – UoP are committed to developing own csv-based plug-in

  7. Project Issues Suppliers How can we engage suppliers in the development of plug-ins or IMS interfaces? Are combined programme supplier meetings a good idea? Enriched Portal Should we seek funding to extend an existing south west portal that is already RDA funded – www.gradsouthwest.com? Regional Data Controller Should we try to have a regional data controller? Who? RDA, LSC?
