Department of Labor and IndustryConstruction Codes and Licensing Division (CCLD) • Purpose of the Project • Provide better equity, transparency, and accountability to licensees • Improve efficiency and control costs • Efficiency • consolidate license processes • renewal cycles, refunds • late fees, exams processing • consistent statutory model • License Equity • Improve consistency • Assign costs to skill level • Separate individual/business • Fee for service transparency

Department of Labor and IndustryConstruction Codes and Licensing Division (CCLD) • Current License Fee Structure - History • Currently a pre-construction code consolidation structure • Business processes from 5 different agencies • 16 different license rates, ranging from $0 to $450 • Very little transparency relating licensing cost and service • High maintenance and support costs
