English 10 - 12/10/18 • Respond to poetry video “OCD.” • The old farmer tried fish farming once, but had to give it up when his combine kept getting stuck in the lake. • Autology – the scientific study of oneself. Goals – Finish poem 1 recitals and readings. Redos for poem 1? Practice Poem 2 recital/reading aloud. Homework – Write poem 2 from memory on daily work paper. Recite/read poem 2 aloud. Prepare to recite for class. Don’t forget to Study for vocab. 13 Friday.

  2. English 10 - 12/11/18 • Respond to the poetry video; Snow Day. • What do you call a snow man that has been bitten by a vampire? • Ululate – to howl or hoot. Goals –Recite your second poem for class mates. Focus on quality of tone and expression. Homework – Recite your second poem before going to bed. Tomorrow we try to practice with the larger audience.

Goals – Recite your second poem for class mates. Focus on quality of tone and expression. Homework – Practice poem tonight for redo or first time. Study for vocab. 13.

Goals – Practice reciting. Present in front of the class? Volunteers or victims? Homework –Write your second poem from memory on your daily work paper. Recite it before going to bed. Quiz #13 tomorrow.

Goals –Complete vocab. 13. Present in front of the class? Volunteers or victims? Homework – Write you whole poem tonight, tomorrow night and Sunday night.
