CollegiateLink Usage Activity Place a M&M on your circle for each of the following (you may check your CollegiateLink if you need to, only use this years’ material): • For every 2 events you have promoted or submitted service hours through CollegiateLink = 1 brown • For every election done through CollegiateLink = 1 blue • For every 20 roster members listed on CollegiateLink = 1 red • For every news article on CollegiateLink= 1 green • For every survey designed through CollegiateLink = 2 yellow • For every photo album on CollegiateLink = 1 Purple

Judgment 16+ = CollegiateLink Guru 15-13 M&Ms = Great usage of CollegiateLink 12-10 M&Ms = Keep up the good work, but look for ways to improve 9-7 M&Ms = Need to look more into ways to use CollegiateLink, try more marketing for events/meetings 6-4 M&Ms = Struggling with CollegiateLink, you can set up a meeting with me to go over CollegiateLink and we can discuss ways to market your organization (optional) 3-0 M&Ms = You need to set up a meeting with me to figure out how CollegiateLink can help you better or why you haven’t used it before

  4. Personalize Your Page • Use headers, banners, logos, pictures • You can change at anytime • Graphics that attract a person • Something that stands out, makes you noticed • Videos • Demonstrate purpose of organization

  5. Showcase Your Organization • News Article • Create article to showcase honors/recognition of organization • How can organization benefit student • Look good on resume? • Viewable by public (future employers, community members, etc) • Leadership Opportunities

  6. Event Marketing • Create Flyers posted to CollegiateLink homepage • Send individualized invitations • Power to RSVP • Possible attendance • Figure out cost • Food necessities • Resources needed

  7. Create An Online Community • Send messages to your membership • Communicate on wall • Link to Facebook, Twitter, Blogs • Go Green/Online Meeting Agendas • Use Forms app.

  8. Elections • Computer counting • Unbiased party • Limit who votes • Prohibit non-organization members • Set up multiple elections at one time

  9. Collaborate With Other Orgs. • Work on events with other organizations • Promotion of event from 2+ orgs • Exposure = Higher Recruitment

  10. Setup Site At End of Year • Use as a recruitment tool for incoming students • Orientation • Advising Days (if applicable) • Mainstreet • Site setup by Mainstreet you can accept new members on day of Mainstreet Organization Fair
