  4. The School Day • 9.00am-3.15pm • Snack & Story 10.30am-10.45am • Morning Break 10.45am-11.00am • Lunch Break 12.30pm-1.30pm • Collect at 3.15pm

  16. Homework • Issued once per week • Mix of literacy and maths • Sometimes other tasks related to other curricular areas • Make it as practical as possible • Enjoyable experience sharing learning

Appointments and Absences • Send letter or Dojo into class teacher beforehand • On day of appointment go to school reception to collect your child • If your child is unwell try to phone the school in the morning • If your child is unwell in school we will contact you or the emergency contact • Advise against holidays during term time

  18. Snack and Lunch • Snack for playtime • Water bottle for class – filled each morning • Packed Lunch • School Dinner: Free P1 • Parent Pay online payment system • Home Lunch: Collect from Entrance area • Supervised • Fruit snack for afternoon

  19. What do they need? • School uniform • Gym Kit • Water Bottle • Reading Bag • School Bag • Indoor Shoes • Painting Apron • Pencil case optional

Transition • Buddy meet and tour • Information Session • Induction morning and taster lunch – Friday 24th May • PTA welcome during induction morning • Nursery visits-ongoing • Drop-In- Thursday 13th June 11.00-11.30 & 2.30-3.00pm • Extra classroom visit non BofA children – Thurs 13th June 9.30am-10.30am

  22. The First Day • Tuesday 20th August 2019 • Early Years entrance • No lines – adults will open door and Class Teacher will be waiting at classroom • Staggered intake – please check time • For first 2 days parents welcome to join children coming into school, to support and settle. We encourage parents to avoid lingering! • Big Buddy will meet Wee Buddy at break and lunch time. • Collect children at 3.15 p.m. from designated area
