The Cammack Building The Psychology Clinic is housed in the Cammack Building, Room 5.It is a training, service, and research facility operated by the Department of Psychology at Eastern Kentucky University. All clinicians have received specialized graduate training and are closely supervised by licensed members of the clinical and school psychology faculty. (859) 622-2356
The Cammack Building • Services include: • individual and group therapy for behavioral, social, and emotional problems • individual therapy for school-related problems • psychological testing • intellectual assessment • academic assessment • vocational assessment and counseling • marital/relationship therapy • stress management • grief/victim counseling • assertiveness training • smoking cessation • Fees for therapy are set on a sliding scale from $6.00 to $40.00 for each visit. They are based on a person's income, number of dependents, and ability to pay. Fees for assessment services are also based on a sliding scale.

Scholarship Opportunities in the Arts, humanities and social sciences Laura Kennamer Scholarships (for Campus Scholars and Study Abroad Scholars) Students eligible for these scholarships must be majoring in Anthropology, Economics, Geography, Government, History, Psychology, Social Work or Sociology and have and maintain at least a 3.25 GPA. Students should have completed between 36 and 90 semester hours. John Long Memorial Endowed Humanities Scholarship Recipients must be enrolled full-time at EKU with a major in English, Foreign Languages, History, Speech Communication or Philosophy; have at least a 3.0 GPA or demonstrate scholarly accomplishments and potential; and must submit an essay on “The Value of the Humanities.” John Long Visual and Performing Arts Scholarship Recipients of the scholarship must be enrolled full-time at EKU with a major in Art, Music or Theatre and must have at least a 3.0 GPA or demonstrate performance accomplishments and potential. Ralph D. Powers Memorial Scholarship This scholarship is for those who intend to pursue some form of professional career in teaching English. Preference will be given, but not limited, to students from Wayne County, KY or any of the Appalachian Counties in the EKU service area. To be considered, applicants must be in good academic standing as a full-time student at EKU, have need for financial assistance, and be a permanent resident of the state of Kentucky. Scholarship Opportunities in the sciences Booth Scholarship for Math & Science For full-time students with at least a 3.25 GPA majoring in: Mathematics & Statistics, Chemistry, Biological Sciences, Geology, Physics & Astronomy, or Computer Sciences.(Must be a resident of a county contained within the University’s designated service region.) Meredith J. Cox Scholarship Fund For Sophomores or Juniors with at least a 3.0 GPA who have declared a Pre-Medical major. Madison County Medical Society Scholarship A one thousand dollar scholarship for full-time Juniors and Seniors who have declared a major in Biology or Chemistry with a Pre-Medical emphasis.
