Postanak • Miami Heat je profesionalni košarkaski tim,utakmice igra u American Airlines Areni u gradu Majamiju,Florida.Tim je član Jugoistošne divizije u Istočnoj Konferenciji Nba lige.Tim je nastao kao plan Nba lige da proširi ligu u kasnim 80-tim.Zajedno sa Majamijem nastale su četiri nove ekipe,Šarlot Hornetsi,Orlando Medžik 1988.godine a Minesota Timbervulfs 1989 .godine.Titulu su osvajali 2006.godine i 2012.godine.
