    2. Physical Fitness in Young Adults This power point will teach you all about physical fitness. You will learn how to become a healthier person. It will teach you how to find out things about your body.

    3. Physical Fitness in Young Adults Define ideal weight Define Body Mass Index Define target heart rate Know the proper ways to exercise

    4. Ideal Weight Your ideal weight is a range of weights that is considered healthy for you. It takes into account your age, height and weight.

    5. Body Mass Index BMI reflects the relation between your body size and your body weight.

    6. Target Heart Rate Your target heart rate is the rate you want to maintain during your workout. To find your target heart rate you follow this formula (220-age) x .70

    7. Walking When you walk be sure to take small steps Step on your heel first and move onto the ball of your foot Push off on your toes as you take the next step Always remember to keep those arms pumping
