  1. Grenville Field Trip • Examine each exposure • Select your own hand samples • Compare field and laboratory data • Make appropriate entries, additions, corrections in your notebooks • Perform some specific field exercises • Construct a geologic map of the area

  2. Field Equipment • Hand lens • Geologic pick • Notebook & pencil • Pack, boots, hat, etc • Colored pencils • Possibly tracing paper for map? • Background information

  3. Trip Report • Due on loading dock Sunday evening • Report should include: • Your notebooks (both laboratory and field data) • Your geologic map • Results of the prescribed field trip exercises • A short summary of the the field trip geology
