  3. Functional Teapotsare meant to be used They are designed To fit the hand and to pour easily.

  4. Non Functional Teapots are just that, not intended for use They can be gigantic to project an idea or theme.

  5. Teapots can interpreted many ways.This is an earring and necklace set , that’s 30 feet long.

  6. Ceramic Teapots can be both Functional & Nonfunctional They can be stylized yet functional or stylized to the point of being nonfunctional

  8. Figurative teapots can be sculpted in 3- Dimensions or they can be implied on the surface or a combination of both

  9. They can anthropomorphic , Gestural or suggestive

  10. This Teapot Set has lots of suggestive movement; with a metal fabrication look, from the cut and reassemble technique.

  11. This Teapot makes the negative space the focal point or emphasis as your eye tries balance both halves of this teapot.

  28. Thrown Teapotscan be expressed in many shapes and surface treatments. Notice these spouts are very short, which makes it very difficult to control the pouring of liquid into a cup.

  30. These teapots have sprigs added to the surface for decoration. The teapot on the left had sprigs added while the pots were still wet and pliable.
