Starbucks® Coffee—Lots of Caffeine! • The beans and roasting method lead to high caffeine levels • 12 ounce cup of drip coffee has 180mg of caffeine • 12 ounce cup of extra strength brew has 300mg of caffeine • Even decaffeinated has 20mg per 12 ounces • Compare to tea, which is around ~70mg/12 ounces
