  7. How it works Silver and Copper are naturally occurring elements and have been used since their discovery for purifying water. Silver is a powerful bactericide and copper has strong antimicrobial properties.

  8. How it works In the 1960’s NASA, as part of the Apollo space programme, produced a small lightweight water purifier. Using the principle of ionisation silver ions were dispensed into the spacecraft water supply thereby making it safe to drink.
